"Word, Eye and City" corresponds to workshop series composed of three phases titled "City in Text," "Eye in City," and "Text in Eye." The series are based on Italo Calvino's book of Invisible Cities.

In the phase of City in Text, stories of invisible cities described by Calvino are selected, and analyzed by making abstraction over the text, and figuring out the keywords. These keywords compose the background of the model to be formed.

In the phase of Eye in City, the observed city-section is abstracted, and represented by two-dimensional media. It is also supported visually by short-films and photographies. This phase is completed with the conceptual mapping of the related city-section.

In the phase of Text in Eye, the observed and represented city is narrated.

By this way, we aim at forming an interlocked city-perception by reading, viewing and representing the city, consecutively.
